Siemens is one of the world’s leading suppliers of switchgear and protection equipment for power systems. In New Zealand, protection and control IED products from Siemens are distributed by HV Power. This includes the SIPROTEC, REYROLLE, RUGGEDCOM and SICAM portfolio, as well as MV switchgear including 8DJH, NXPLUS C and 8DA10.

The REG-D/DA developed by A. Eberle GmbH are the most widely used tap changer controllers in New Zealand. These 'one box' solutions are used for automatic voltage regulation and temperature control of substation transformers. A.
